Overview

The 46th Annual Mt. Carmel Sundevil / Asics Cross Country Invitational will be held on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026 at Morley Field in Balboa Park, San Diego California. This is San Diego's premiere Cross Country Invitational. The races take place in the section of the park where the Brooks National Cross Country Championships were held in 2025.  

The individual based format allows a coach an opportunity to look at their team in grade level races. Additionally, schools with outstanding athletes can compete in a Senior / Individual Sweepstakes--no matter the grade level.

Both Boys and Girls will run a 3-Mile Course. Each race: freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior, will be awarded to 50 places for athletes. There will be two division sizes (Large & Small). In 2025, our Invitational had over 85 schools competing and more than 2500 runners competing in the sixteen races.  

And just like last year, we will be featuring BIB ONLY timing by Finished Results.

If you are interest in participating in this year's meet, we ask that you fill out the online Registration Google Document Form. This meet is sanctioned in California, Arizona, Oregon, and Nevada, thus space is limited. We look forward to seeing you.
